The website uses session cookies, which allow us to make our services more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer and in your browser. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Cookies do not damage your computer or contain viruses.
Using Google Adwords / Google Tag Manager
Our website uses Google AdWords and Google Tag Manager to provide personalised, interest and location-related online advertising. In Google Tag Manager, the option to anonymise IP addresses can be managed using an internal setting, which is not visible in the source of this page. This internal setting ensures IP address anonymisation as required by the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
We use the following features of Google AdWords:
These services allow us to employ targeted advertising to address visitors to our website within the framework of marketing campaigns for our products on the websites of our advertising partners. This form of advertising is anonymous. Based on a cookie technology (DoubleClick cookie) and previous visits to our website, Google AdWords and Google Tag Manager place advertising materials on the websites of our partners. Google collects and stores the data. Our advertising partners do not receive any information about the data stored in the cookie. In addition to the IP address associated with the computer used, the cookie stores an ID number that allows Google to determine how often you access which websites. Aside from the IP address, no other personal information such as email address, company name or telephone number is stored. The data stored in the cookie is not linked to other personal information associated with the user profile. Users can deactivate the DoubleClick remarketing pixel by accessing the DoubleClick or Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) deactivation page.
Using Facebook Plug-ins
This website uses social plug-ins (hereinafter referred to as ‘plug-ins’) of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (hereinafter referred to as ‘Facebook’). You will recognise the plug-ins by the Facebook logo or the descriptions ‘social plug-in from Facebook’ and ‘Facebook social plug-in’. You can find an overview of the Facebook plug-ins and what they look like here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins. If you view a page of our website containing such a plug-in, your browser will connect directly to the servers of Facebook. The content of the plug-in will be sent directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the page. By virtue of this integration, Facebook is informed that your browser has opened the page in question on our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) will be sent straight from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate the visit to our website with your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, this information will also be sent directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information will also be published on your Facebook profile and it will be visible to your Facebook friends.
You can read about the purpose and scope of the collection of data by Facebook, as well as the processing and use thereof, and find information on your rights and how to change your settings in order to protect your privacy in Facebook’s data privacy information: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not want Facebook to directly associate data collected through our website with your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the Facebook plug-in from being loaded by installing add-ons in your browser, for example the Facebook Blocker (http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/).
When it came to incorporating the two-click solution onto our website, we selected the data privacy-friendly variant recommended by data protection specialists and would like to point out the following:
None of your information will be transmitted to Facebook until you activate the Like button on our website.
If you want to prevent Facebook from linking the visit to our website with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account. If you would like to prevent the transmission of any such data to Facebook, do not activate the Like button.
Rausch GmbH takes all the necessary technical and organisational security steps to prevent your personal data from being lost or misused. As such, your data is stored in a secure operating environment which is inaccessible to the public.
In order to protect you as a customer, we use an encrypted connection for online orders. Your personal data is encrypted (rendered inaccessible to third parties) using SSL (secure sockets layer) and transmitted over the Internet. This way, you can be sure that personal data such as your name and address will only be sent to our server. You can recognise secure connections such as this by the padlock symbol in the status bar of your browser and in the URL in the address bar, which starts with ‘https’ instead of ‘http’.
