Opened in 1890 by Wilhelm Rausch Sr, the family’s first business – a confectionery shop – sold chocolates, truffles and pralines. In 1918, Wilhelm Rausch Jnr founded Rausch private confectioners for the production of the finest chocolates, pralines and honey cakes.
Gerhard Rausch takes over the company. He invented the »Hauchfeinen Täfelchen«.
On its 50th anniversary, the company inaugurates the manufactory. Willy and Gerhard Rausch give the District Mayor of Tempelhof a guided tour of the chocolate production plant.

Jürgen Rausch’s son, Robert Rausch, joined the family company in 2011. Since then, father and son have undertaken many trips to the regions of origin of the carefully selected fine flavour cocoas together.
Robert Rausch heads the realignment of the brand, bringing it into the digital era. Nevertheless, the company aim has always remained the same: to make incomparable chocolate of the most supreme quality. The father-and-son team continue to make all important decisions together.
