Vegan means that products - food, clothing or similar - are already free of animal components during production. Since high-quality dark fine cocoa chocolate in its purest form contains only cocoa and cane sugar, it is vegan by nature. No more and no less makes a good dark and vegan chocolate. Very good chocolate should be natural, pure and full of cocoa flavor. From a cocoa content of 60% - our ›Rausch Plantagen‹ chocolate consists of only 2 ingredients: fine flavour cocoa (cocoa butter and powder) and cane sugar. This is our "secret recipe" for a pure vegan chocolate, which is unparalleled in taste. As the first chocolate manufacturer ever, we have been doing important pioneering work for years in the production of chocolates without the addition of soy lecithin and other additives.
NOTE: Our light fine cocoa chocolates - ›Rausch Plantagen Grenada 39 %‹ and ›Rausch Plantagen Venezuela 43 %‹ - are not vegan. They contain whole milk as a third ingredient. Light fine cocoa chocolate in its purest form contains cocoa, cane sugar and whole milk.

Since 1918, Rausch has stood for excellent chocolate creations made from pure ingredients and according to the highest quality standards. The quality of chocolate is primarily determined by the cocoa used. That is why we use 100 percent originally pure fine flavoured cocoas for our fine flavoured chocolates.
Our diverse and intense flavors are unique and characterize our fine flavoured cocoa chocolates 'Rausch Plantagen'. So each of the six varieties has its typical taste profile - which has its connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
The gentle roasting at 135° emphasizes the heart note of each fine flavoured cocoa and further highlights the sub-nuances.
