The bite-sized dragées can be anything from tiny to almost plum-sized and come in a variety of shapes. Whether spherical, round, lentil-shaped or oval, the wide range of possibilities ensures plenty of variety.

Coating is a process, or rather a processing method, in the food industry. A wide variety of treats are coated with a sugar mass or chocolate. As almost anything can be coated, the possibilities are almost endless and a balanced flavour experience is guaranteed.

The special feature of Rausch Dragées is that they retain the original shape of their centre, in this case that of almonds with tonka.

Unique craftsmanship

The chocolate-coated almonds with tonka combine two very special products. On the one hand the almonds with tonka and on the other the light Rausch Edelkako chocolate Venezuela 43%, which leads to the unmistakable taste experience.

Traditionally, the dragées are made in a so-called dragier kettle - as is the case with Rausch. During the coating process, the corn kernels are placed in the slanted, half-open copper kettle, where they are then kept in constant motion by the rotation of the kettle. The chocolate is then added, which is evenly distributed around the kernel.

As a family business that places great value on tradition, it is important to us to maintain certain traditions in our production methods. The dragées are made with great care in the Rausch manufactory. This means you can enjoy these little delicacies without a guilty conscience, as they are not produced on an industrial scale.
