The high percentage fine flavour cocoa chocolate 'Rausch Plantagen Costa Rica 84 % Cuvée Prestige' has the highest percentage of fine flavour cocoa that Rausch has ever processed. It achieves completely new facets of taste through the different expressions of the varieties combined in it and is a chocolate for true cocoa enthusiasts. The designation "Cuvée Prestige" comes from the cultivation of wine and is only awarded to a composition of the best varieties. For the 'Rausch Plantagen Costa Rica 84 % Cuvée Prestige' 9 fine flavour cocoa varieties are assembled to find the optimal balance for the new chocolate.
It is the top product of the 'Rausch Plantagen' assortment from sustainable cultivation and masterly processing. The plantation, which Rausch has owned since 2014, is located within sight of the mighty 3,325 meter high volcano Turrialba, embedded in the tropical rain forest. Some of the best varieties in the world are cultivated there. We grow cocoa using innovative cultivation and post-harvesting methods. For this core project, no rainforest was cleared, but depleted pastureland was reforested and fine cocoa was grown within a mixed culture, a so-called agroforestry system. In this way the diversity on the plantation is maintained and even promoted. We create ideal conditions for each cocoa seedling. Through our work at the Rausch Edelkakao-Institut, fine flavour cocoa varieties can be protected and important research questions can be examined.
From the highly aromatic and strictly selected fine flavour cocoa beans, the fine flavour cocoa chocolate is produced according to traditional recipes. The result lets you feel the exciting taste of the tropical landscape of Costa Rica on your tongue. Even unpacking is an experience due to the high-quality gold embossing on the packaging. The protective film preserves the optical gloss, the aromatic scent and the typical Rausch crackling noise - a sign of the high quality of the chocolate.

Ich bin passionierte Schokoladengenießerin, wo immer ich bin auf der Welt. Weder in Frankreich noch in Belgien oder der Schweiz konnte ich bisher eine bessere Qualität von Schokolade finden als von Rausch. Das betrifft die drei dunkelsten Sorten: 84, 80 und 75 %ig. Hellere sind for mich im Allgemeinen zu süß und zu wenig schokoladig.
Trinidad schmeckt dabei am vollmundigsten, wie ich finde - unschlagbar!!!!!!
